ORDINANCE NO. 91 -001 — <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT SECTION <br />4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 90 -028 PASSED' AND ADOPTED ON THE '13TH'DAY OF AUGUST, <br />1990, BE AMENDED BY CHANGING ASSESSMENT AGAINST LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 286; <br />PROVIDING THAT SAID ASSESSMENT FOR DRIVEWAY BE REDUCED FROM $6,953.58 <br />to -0 -; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 14, 1991 <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by <br />Councilman Kent for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91 -002 <br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE STREETS AND ALLEYS, LOCATED IN THE TEXAS AND <br />PACIFIC ADDITION, BEING PACIFIC AVENUE BETWEEN THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE <br />OF CHURCH STREET AND THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 3RD STREET S. E. AND <br />BETWEEN THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 3RD STREETS. E. AND THE WEST <br />BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET S: E.; SYCAMORE STREET WEST BOUNDARY LINE <br />OF LOT 2, BLOCK 1 -A; 4TH STREETS. E. BETWEEN THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE <br />OF PARIS BLVD. AND THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 2 CITY BLOCK 162; 5TH <br />STREETS. E BETWEEN THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF PARIS BLVD, AND THE <br />SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 5 CITY BLOCK 162; AND THE ALLEYS LOCATED IN <br />BLOCKS 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, AND 13 OF THE TEXAS AND PACIFIC _ <br />ADDITION; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID STREETS AND ALLEYS FOR <br />CITY USE BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />JANUARY 14 1991 <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilwoman Smith for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91 -003 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONTAINING A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS REMAINING ON THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A <br />NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO <br />THE LIFE AND WELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID <br />RUBBISH, LUMBER AND REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND <br />REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by <br />Councilwoman Smith for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays, <br />City Manager Malone called for the tabulation of bids for furnishing, <br />delivery and installation of one new roof - mounted three. and one -half <br />ton high efficiency electric air - conditioner /heating unit for the <br />Police Department, and the following bids were presented: <br />Quality Heat and Air $2,075.00 <br />
