City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for rezoning: <br />Sid Hollingsworth, Lot 11, City Block 296 Site Plan Approval in a <br />Planned Development - Retail District. <br />John David Griffith, 300 Pine Bluff Street, appeared before the <br />Council and told them that he had a petition for rezoning on Lot 18, <br />City Block 296, to build a Quick -lube Center, site plan approval in a <br />Planned Development - Retail District, that he was not aware that he <br />was to return the petition, and the petition was presented to the <br />Council. <br />Mayor Burnett referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendations and called for a <br />public hearing at the next regular council meeting. <br />Rod Kosterman, 3360 E. Houston, appeared before the Council and <br />discussed the distance of 200 feet for notice of a zoning change, and <br />questioned if it was possible to change this to 500 feet. city <br />Attorney Haynes advised that this was a State law that has been <br />adopted by the City of Paris. <br />There being no further business, t m ing d'ourned. <br />ILLY RN T , MAYO <br />ATTEST: <br />MA.TTIE CUNNINGHAM, CITY CL K�cc� <br />
