Resolution No. 87 -029 approving plans and specifications for the exterior renovation of the City Hall /Central Fire Station, and authorizing the advertisement of bids was presented. Dick Boots, Director of Facilities, appeared before the Council and gave a report of the renovation required to the exterior of the City Hall /Central Fire Station, and stated that the approximate cost would be $83,000.00 for such repairs which is budgeted in this years budget. After discussion, a. motion was made by Councilman wort-,ham, seconded r-- by Councilman Bone for approval of the Resolution for renovation to the exterior of City Hall /Central Fire Station. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 87 -029 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore on the 25th day of September, 1986, authorize the City Staff to develop plans and specifications for exterior renovation of the City Hall /Central Fire Station; and, WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the Exterior Renovation of the City Hall /Central Fire Station have been prepared by the Engineering Department of the City of Paris, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �-- PARIS, That the plans and specifications for Exterior Renovation of the City Hall /Central Fire Station are hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such project for Exterior Renovation of the City Hall /Central Fire Station should be advertised for bids to be received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council for letting.
