t� MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL March 25, 1987 The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Wednesday, March 25, 1987, 5:15 P. M. in the Council room of City Hall. Mayor Billy J. Burnett called the meeting to order with the following Councilman present: W. C. Francis, Travis Wortham, Jeff Hoog, and Bill Bone. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. Mayor Burnett announced the special meeting was called for the purpose of consideration of and action on a resolution authorizing the execution of Change Order Number two to the contract for construction of Wastewater Pumping Station with Johansson Construction Company., Inc. City Manager Malone advised the Council that this change order represented a decrease in the contract price. John Buss, Director of Engineering, appeared before the Council and went over the deletion of the lower gravel parking area and the gravel driveway leading to it because it was located in the flood plain and it was not cost effective. Mr. Buss explained that there was an additional item that will result in an increase, but the contract price due to this change order will result in a decrease of $1,111.00. Resolution No. 87 -0032 amending the contract for construction of Wastewater Pumping Station by. change order No. 2, and authorizing Mayor Billy J. Burnett to execute said change order was presented. A motion was made. by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Bone for approval of the of the Resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
