39 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 -032 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore, in Resolution No. 85 -087, award the contract for <br />the construction of a Wastewater Pumping Station to <br />Johansson Construction Co., Inc.; and, <br />- WHEREAS, Ron Pedersen, Staff Engineer, recommends the <br />amendment of said contract by Change Order No. 2 attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A ", which provides for the deletion of <br />the lower gravel parking area and the gravel driveway <br />leading to it, raising the meter vault wall 3'0" to top <br />elevation of 473.00., rewriting the controller program and <br />entering into the Yokogawa Model SLPC programable controller <br />and test running and tuning the system to assure program <br />validity, which results in a reduction in contract price of <br />$1,111.00 to a total of $545,230.00 and an increase in <br />contract time by 61 calendar days; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the contract for construction of Wastewater <br />Pumping Station is hereby amended by Change Order No. 2 <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, <br />on behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change <br />Order. <br />Passed and adopted this 25th day of March, 1987. <br />01 <br />Billiffoe Burnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City er <br />APPROVED A TO FORM: <br />K..Haynes, ity Attorney <br />
