Mr. Buss stated that the purpose in doing this would <br />be to forestall the eventual requirement for additional pipeline to <br />Pat Mayse Reservoir. Mr. Buss estimated the additional cost would be <br />under $15,000.00. <br />Mayor Burnett announced that the Council would move to Item No. 8A at <br />this time. <br />Resolution No. 87 -049 authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett to execute change Order No. 9 to the <br />Additions to the Water Treatment Plant was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Bufford, seconded by Councilman Wortham for <br />adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />0 <br />
