95� <br />maximum service to the area, and would open the area up for future <br />development, cost effective per person, and would require only one <br />lift station. <br />After discussion, Mayor Burnett appointed a committee consisting of <br />Councilman Fendley, Councilman Bone, and Councilman Clifford to study <br />the project, and instructed the committee to report back to the <br />Council. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman <br />Wortham to table action on Items No. 11, 12, and 13. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone reported that the City Staff was continuing to <br />work on gathering information in preparation of a possible EDA Grant <br />Application, and explained that this type of grant would be 60% of <br />the funding providing by EDA and 40% would be provided by the City of <br />Paris. City Manager Malone stated that this type of grant addressed <br />needs that relates to bring manufacturing jobs to the community, and <br />said he would report back on the progress. <br />City Attorney Haynes reported that there has been a change in the <br />election law, and we will be unable to hold the City Elections on the <br />date required by our City Charter.
