Councilman Kent to excuse Councilman Clifford. The motion carried <br />unanimously, and Councilman Clifford departed the Council chambers.. <br />City Attorney Haynes explained that the replat was requested because of <br />a correction being made due to an error in the plat, and stated that <br />the replat would meet the requirements of the City Engineer. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Kent, seconded by <br />Councilman Bone for approval of the replat of Lots 8 and 9, Block B, <br />Oak Creek Phase 2. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Clifford entered the Council Chambers and assumed his seat <br />at the Council table. <br />Mr. McCollum presented the final plat of Lots 3A, City Block 237 -A. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Kent <br />for approval of the final plat subject to the requirements of the City <br />Engineer. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for rezoning: <br />Charles L. Waldrum agent for Campbell Soup, Inc., Lot 14, Block 297 <br />from Agricultural District to Light Industrial District; David <br />Jackson, Vice President of Operations St. Joseph's Hospital & Health <br />Center, Lots 4 & 6 in Block No. 3 of the Varner, Fort and Felts <br />Addition from 2 Family District to Office District; Rodger Price, Lot <br />17, City Block 222A, from SF2 District to MF1 District. <br />Mayor Burnett referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendations and called for a public <br />hearing at the next regular Council meeting. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the tabulations of bids for shelving and <br />furnishings for the Paris Public Library, and the following bids were <br />presented: <br />DANISH LIBRARY B.
