55? <br />Councilman Bufford stated that priorities should be set before anything <br />could be implemented. <br />After further discussion, Councilman Folmar made a suggestion that this <br />matter be deferred to the City Manager with instructions to send out <br />mailers regarding this type development, and report back to the Council at <br />the regular Council meeting in February. <br />Mayor Burnett called for tabulations of bids received for one four wheel <br />drive tractor and the following bids were presented: <br />Paris Implement Company $ 13,602.00 <br />LaRue Ford Tractor $ 12,975.00 <br />Cunningham Equipment Company $ 12,300.00 <br />Case Power & Equipment $ 11,972.00 <br />Pettit Ward Farm & Garden Inca $ 10,972.70 <br />Roy Luttrell, Solid Waste /Traffic Superintendent, appeared before the <br />Council and told them that the tractor was needed for shredding weeds in <br />drainage ditches. That weed eaters and two wheel drive tractors have been <br />used, and it is very costly along with being slow, and feels that the four <br />wheel drive tractor would be much better for this type shredding. . <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bone to table action on <br />this item until further information could be obtained. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Folmar and carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the tabulations of bids received for two Nitronox <br />Analgesic Portable Units, and the following bids were presented: <br />Armstrong Industries $ 2,296.00 <br />Dallas, Texas <br />r-- Armstrong Industries $ 2,718.00 <br />Northbrook, I1. <br />Ohmeda $ 2,900.00 <br />orchard Park, N. Y. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bone, seconded by <br />Councilman Hoog to table action on this item. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for tabulations of bids received for one Utility Model <br />Air Compressor, and the following bids were presented: <br />Barac Supply Company <br />Moody -Day Inc. <br />Grace Equipment Company <br />$ 8,500.00 <br />$ 8,313.39 <br />$ 7,436..00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bone, seconded by Councilman Folmar to <br />accept the low bid of the Grace Equignent Company in the amount of <br />$7,436.00. The motion carried ,7 ayes., 0 nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for tabulations of bids received for one <br />Two- Through -Eigh Phase Fully Actuated Controller. <br />
