!li � RESOLUTION NO. 84 -020 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley, running North and South from Bonham Street North to Maple Ave. being West of 23rd N. W. Street and East of 24th N. W. Street; BEGINNING at the North boundary line of Bonham Street and the Southwest corner of Lot 1, City Block 202 and the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 1, Wortham - Carlton Addition; THENCE North approximately 317.5 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 6, City Block 202 and the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Block 1, Wortham- Carlton Addition and the South boundary line of Maple Ave., and sometimes referred to as an alley; and, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the alley is not desired by the properly owners adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for utility easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed of 7.5 feet of the 15 foot alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows: Lot 2, Block 1 Wortham - Carlton Addition Lot 3, Block 1 Wortham - Carlton Addition Lot 4, Block 1 Wortham- Carlton Addition Lot 1, City Block 202 Lot 6, City Block 202 Mrs. Dora R. Walker Mrs. R. M. Walker Tommie L. Killir_gsworth Curtis McDaniel Mrs. Clyde Buels BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain a utility easement i-n the area to be described in the above described quit claim deeds.
