r <br />Director of Community Development, Joe McCollum presented a <br />plat showing recommended zoning on the proposed annexation <br />of 149 acre tract of land located on both side of U. S. <br />Highway 82 between the East City Limits of Paris and the <br />West City Limits of Reno. <br />Mayor Graham announced that no action would be needed on the <br />proposal. <br />ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY <br />LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE <br />ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 149 ACRES, <br />MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PERCENT (10 %) OF THE <br />TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS. WHICH <br />SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND <br />PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, <br />seconded by Councilman Burnett to approve the introduced <br />Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 84 -029 authorizing offering of appraised <br />amounts for purchase of property required for the Landfill <br />Closure and Infiltration and Inflow Flow Equalization Basin <br />Projects was presented.
