Mayor Graham invited the Council attention to the report and recommenda- <br />tions for the Traffic Commission calling for stop signs and no parking <br />zones. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Fisher, <br />seconded by Councilman Hoog authorizing the City Attorney to prepare <br />Ordinances for future council meetings for the items recommended by the <br />Traffic Commission. <br />City Manager Doty presented a program for increasing the insurance <br />coverage for Cox Field. After discussion, a motion was made by <br />Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Bell to approve the increased <br />coverage to present to the Cox Field Airport Board for their approval <br />and possible adding necessary cost to gasoline sales price. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Doty presented a request from Wayne Brown Trustee for <br />water connections by the Lamar County Water District in the gray area <br />for two residential water connections. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Wilson, seconded by Councilman Hoog approving the request. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham requested the Council's consideration of the creation of a <br />Paris Sesquicentennial Committee. A motion was made by Councilman Ware, <br />seconded by Councilman Fisher authorizing the creation of the Committee. <br />The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />On the Agenda item for consideration for an annexation policy, a motion <br />was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Bell to table the <br />matter. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the Council would go into executive session <br />to discuss legal and personnel matters with the City Attorney, and the <br />regular session was declared closed and the executive session open. <br />Legal matters were discussed with the City Attorney. <br />The executive session was declared closed, and the regular session open. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Ware to <br />remove from the table items tabled earlier in this meeting concerning <br />permits for Cox Field Airport for Randall Steven Ag. Service and James <br />Howell Ag. Operations. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilman Ware to issue temporary permits to Randall Steven Ag. Service <br />and James Howell Ag. Operations. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 84 -011 appointing Roy Sparks and Tom Pine as members of <br />the Building Commission was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Fisher, seconded by Councilman Wilson for adoption of the Resolution. <br />The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />�~ <br />
