Chairman Nutt declared the public hearing open on the petition of Alan Boyd for Site Plan approval in a Planned Development District (PD -a) on Lot 1, City Block 287 located at 3310 Lamar Avenue. Mr. Boyd presented the Site Plan which provided for a jewelry store and lease space for other business uses. There was no opposition to the Site Plan and the public hearing was closed. Mr. McCollum advised the Commission that staff had reviewed the Site Plan and recommended approval subject to the dedication of additional right of way for the widening of 33rd S.E. Mr. Pine commented on the drainage for the lot and urged Mr. Boyd to extend the curb and gutter on 33rd S.E. to Lamar Avenue. Following discussion Mr. Perry made a motion to recommend approval of the Site Plan, marked-Exhibit A and attached hereto, subject to the right of way dedication. Chairman Nutt declared the public hearing open on the proposed annexation and proper zoning upon annexation of the 90.62 acre tract of land owned and occupied by Merico, Inc. located on the east side of 19th N.W. between W. Center Street and Loop 286 N.W. There was no one in the audience to speak on the matter. Mr. McCollum spoke for the annexation saying that the tract of land had been disannexed from the City in February, 1973 and had remained outside the City Limits since that time as per similar agreements with large industrial concerns. He said that staff recommendation was to annex and to place a Light Industrial Zoning District classification on the property upon annexation. The public hearing was closed and following discussion Mr. McMonigle made a motion to recommend any exalion and Light Industri inn iipnn annexation. Mr. Hildreth seconded the motion which carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. The Final Plat of Elk Hollow Addition was recommended for approval on a motion by Mr. Perry, seconded by Mr. Davidson subject to the exceptions listed in City Engineer's Memorandum dated March 3, 1984, marked Exhibit B and attached hereto. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. The Final Plat of York Addition was recommended for approval on a motion by Mr. Davidson, seconded by Mr. Hildreth subject to the exceptions listed in City Engineer's Memorandum dated March 3, 1984, marked Exhibit C and attached hereto. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
