LA <br />99 <br />Mrs. Gardner, 135 27th N.E. and Mrs. Devlin, 120 27th N.E. also spoke in <br />opposition to apartments or commercial uses saying that there were 9 houses <br />on 27th N.E. and all of them were owner occupied. <br />No one else spoke and the public hearing was closed. <br />Following discussion Mr. McMonigle made a motion to recommend denial of the <br />petition. Mr. Hildreth seconded the motion which carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mr. McCollum presented the Site Plan for a church structure on Lot 2, Block <br />A of Jubilee Addition located on the west side of 19th N.W. near W. Henderson <br />Street. The Site Plan had been reviewed by City Staff and conformed to zoning <br />and drainage requirements. He said the Site Plan required Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approval because there was already one structure on the lot. <br />Ken Bolyard addressed the Commission and advised them of his plans for the <br />property. <br />Following discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Hildreth, seconded by Mr. <br />Perry to approve the Site Plan. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Replats of Lots 1 and 2, City Block 218, was recommended for approval on <br />a motion by Mr. McMonigle, seconded by Mr. Davidson subject to the exceptions <br />listed in City Engineer's Memorandum dated January 3, 1984, marked Exhibit <br />A and attached hereto. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Replat of Lot 7, City Block 74 -C was presented by Mr. McCollum who called <br />to the Commissions attention that the present lot was substandard in width <br />and the new lots would also be less than the required width and depth. He <br />pointed out that there are existing lots in the immediate area which are <br />smaller than the ones proposed and that he felt the size would have no <br />adverse effect on the area. He went on to say that there is a house on the <br />south part facing Grove Street which has been declared dilipidated by the <br />City Council but has not been repaired or removed by the owner, Jimmy Furtch. <br />Mr. Furtch plans to construct a new house facing Garrett Street if the replat <br />is approved. <br />The Commission discussed withholding approval of the plat pending the removal <br />of the dilipidated structure. Following discussion Mr. Nutt made a motion, <br />seconded by Mr. Hildreth to approve the plat subject to the exceptions listed <br />in City Engineer's Memorandum dated January 3, 1984, marked Exhibit B and <br />attached hereto. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Preliminary Plat of Elk Hollow Addition was approved on a motion by Mr. <br />Davidson, seconded by Mr. Hildreth subject to the exceptions listed in City <br />Engineer's Memorandum dated December 29, 1983, marked Exhibit C and attached <br />hereto. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Preliminary Plat of Westwood Addition No. 2 was approved on a motion by <br />Mr. Nutt, seconded by Mrs. Battle subject to the exceptions listed in City <br />Engineer's Memorandum dated December 29, 1983, marked Exhibit D and attached <br />hereto.
