MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />May 11, 1982 <br />The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held <br />Tuesday, May 11, 1982, 6:00 P. M. Mayor Graham called the meeting to <br />order with the following Councilmen present: Larry McGee, Donald G. <br />Wilson, Gene McWaters, Jr., Walter F. Williams. Also present were <br />City Manager R. W. Sokoll, City Attorney T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk <br />H. C. Greene. <br />The special Council meeting was called for a budget work session and <br />to discuss City cost of Emergency Housing. <br />After discussion of the budget, Mayor Graham called for a discussion <br />concerning the City's cost of Emergency Housing. City Manager Sokoll <br />explained to the Council that Mr. Ray Spencer did not desire to <br />develop his mobile home park on a temporary one year basis, and that <br />the Federal Employment Management Agency was not allowed to pay for <br />development costs of mobile home parks. After discussion, a motion <br />was made by Councilman McWaters, seconded by Councilman Williams to <br />continue the public hearing on the mobile home park to May 13, 1982, <br />6:00 P. M.
