lip <br />iv; . ` �1}ii� <br />Y 5 4 <br />I <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />July 6, 1982 <br />The special meeting',of the City Council of the City of Paris was held <br />Tuesday July 6, 1982 6:00 P. M. Mayor Graham called the meeting to <br />order with the following Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Donald <br />G. Wilson, Gene McWaters, Jr., Walter F. Williams. Also present were <br />City Manager, R. W.'iSokoll, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, <br />H. C. Greene. <br />i <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Graham on property to be <br />annexed on Highway '271 North in accordance with Ordinance No. 2632. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the annexation, and <br />Mr. Don McLaughlin ''representing Mrs. Estell Council spoke in behalf <br />of Mrs. Council stajting that they objected to the annexation, and <br />questioned the ability of the City to serve the Council property with <br />utilities especally sewer. <br />City Attorney Hayne's advised that the City had a plan to serve the <br />annexed property asl prescribed by law. <br />After discussion, Mayor Graham declared the public hearing closed. <br />I <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />JOE GRAHAM, PMAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />H.
