Councilman Fisher requested to be excused from participation on this item and removed himself from the Council chambers. No one appeared for or against the petition, and the public hearing was declared closed. ORDINANCE NO. 2637 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY: ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 9, BLOCK2, SPERRY'S FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ALICE HEARN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2_(SF -2): AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS) SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Francis for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays, Councilman Fisher not voting. Councilman Fisher entered the Council Chamber and assumed his chair at the Council table. Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of Deborah Wright for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling District to a Neighborhood Service District on Lot 6, City Block 227 -E located at 323 20th N. E. Mayor Graham called for proponents to appear and Mrs. Deborah Wright appeared in her behalf and presented a petition from property owners in the area. Mayor Graham called for opponents to appear and none appeared and the public hearing was declared closed. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Fisher for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the Petition of Vera Mae Rhodes for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District to a Commercial District on Lot 18, City Block 311 located on the southwest corner of Loop 286 S. E. and Clarksville Street.
