' Y <br />514 <br />RESOLUTION,NO. 2188 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has <br />undertaken a project of construction entitled PHASE I, <br />BIG SANDY CREEK DRAINAGE PROJECT, which begins on said <br />creek approximately 2,000 feet East of Loop 286 on <br />property belonging to Joe P. Cobb and Tom Cobb, Jr., <br />thence with the meanders of said creek in a Northwest- <br />erly direction and then in a Westerly direction to the <br />intersection of 24th Street S. E. with two sub - channels <br />going in a Northerly direction from Big Sandy Creek to <br />the intersection of Texas and Pacific Railroad right -of- <br />way, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared <br />by LAN and Associates Engineering which project is to be <br />directed by Rick Conner, City Engineer, as an in -house <br />project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary for the <br />completion of said drainage project are shown on Exhibit A <br />attached hereto; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above <br />described drainage easements are necessary for said <br />improvement project and that the same should be condemned; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to condemn <br />the above described property to be used for Phase I, <br />Big Sandy Creek Drainage Project. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of July, 1982, <br />alai A&714J <br />Jo 'Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />r <br />H.
