A motion was <br />made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman McGee approving <br />the plans and specifications and authorizing advertisment of bids. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2191 authorizing the acquisition of Drainage Easements <br />for Phase III and IV of Buttermilk Creek Drainage Project was presented. <br />A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman McWaters <br />for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2191 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has <br />undertaken a project of construction entitled PHASE III, <br />and PHASE IV, BUTTERMILK CREEK DRAINAGE PROJECT in accord- <br />ance with plans and specifications prepared by Rick Conner, <br />City Engineer of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary for the <br />completion of said drainage project are shown on Exhibit A <br />attached hereto; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above described <br />drainage easements are necessary for said improvement project <br />and that the same should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the above <br />described property to be used for Phase III, and Phase IV, <br />Buttermilk Creek Drainage Project on said creek between <br />Clark Lane and Simpson Street. <br />Passed and adopted this 19th day of July, 1982. <br />J -e-Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
