RESOLUTION NO. 2207 <br />WHEREAS, the Red River Valley Exposition, Inc. has <br />requested the City Council of the City of Paris to subordinate <br />its landlord's lien upon a 0.021 acre lot upon which a <br />Community Exhibit Center is to be constructed which lot is <br />at the Southwest corner of the intersection of Center Ave. <br />and 6th Street N. E. upon the fairground property heretofore <br />leased to Red River Valley Exposition, Inc, as authorized <br />in Resolution No. 2080 of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris wishes to continue to <br />encourage the improvement by construction of new buildings <br />on the fairground property by the Red River Valley <br />Exposition, Inc., and is therefore agreeable to subordinating <br />its landlord lien as requested, upon the terms and conditions <br />described in subordination agreement attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "A "; and, <br />WHEREAS, in the event that there are any abandoned <br />Right of Ways and alleys that may interfer with the stated <br />use of the 0.021 acre lot, we hereby find that such Right <br />of Ways or alleys are not needed by the City of Paris and <br />the same should be forthwith closed; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS; <br />that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, and is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the <br />Cityc€ Paris, the Landlord's Subordination Agreement in <br />favor of the Liberty National Bank in Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />upon the terms and conditions and in the form attached --� <br />hereto as Exhibit "A ". <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any Right of Ways or <br />alleys that may interfere with the proposed use of the <br />tract described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is hereby <br />abandoned by the City of Paris and closed. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of September, 1982, <br />j,4--Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
