MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />SEPTEMBER 21, 1982 <br />The special meeting of the City Council <br />held, Tuesday, 5:15 P. M. Mayor Graham <br />with the following Councilmen present: <br />G. Wilson, Walter F. Williams, and W. C. <br />were Acting City Manager, H. C. Greene, <br />Haynes. <br />of the City of Paris was <br />called the meeting to order <br />Gene McWaters, Jr., Donald <br />Francis. Also present <br />and City Attorney, T. K. <br />Mayor Graham advised the Council that the special meeting was called <br />for the purpose of considering and Ordinance setting the 1982 Tax <br />Rate. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2652 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX RATE AND THE TAX LEVY, AND LEVYING AD <br />VALOREM TAXES FOR THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1982, UPON <br />ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE SAID CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, IN CON- <br />FORMITY WITH THE CHARTER PROVISIONS AND ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY; <br />AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- <br />WITH. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded <br />by Councilman Wilson for adoption of the Ordinance.
