5 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2210 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris is eligible to make applica- <br />tion for funds for Community Development Block Grant projects, <br />which are funded by the Housing and Community Development <br />Act of 1974; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris has numerous community <br />development projects for which local funds have not been -- <br />available; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That an application be made for funds for <br />Community Development Block Grant Projects in <br />the amount of $800,000.00. <br />2. That, H. C. Greene, Acting City Manager, and <br />any successor City Manager, be, and they are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br />deliver on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />necessary applications, communications, <br />instruments, assurances and documents neces- <br />sary for the completion of said projects. <br />3. That Joe N.
