M. <br />Monday, October 18, 1982 in the Council Room. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Fisher for approval. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Acting City Manager Greene requested approval of the 1982 Tax Roll. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman <br />McGee for approval of the 1982 Tax Roll. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />Director of Community Development Joe McCollum discussed a request <br />for discontinuance of the Building Contractor's License and Bond <br />requirements put into effect following the April 2nd tornado. Council- <br />man Wilson and Councilman McWaters asked to be excused from the <br />discussion of this item and left the council room. Mr. McCollum <br />stated the Ordinance benefited in controlling the rebuilding of <br />the damaged section of the City, but the cash bond requirement was <br />proving to be a financial hardship of some contractors. The Council <br />referred the matter to the Building Commission for a recommendation <br />_ for consideration at the next regular Council meeting. <br />Resolution No. 2211 appointing Acting City Manager as representative <br />to conduct business concerning the Infiltration and Inflow Project <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded <br />by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />11 <br />
