1 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL November 18, 1982 The City Council of the City of Paris met in special November 18, 1982 at 5:15 P. M. Mayor Graham called order with the following Councilmen present: W. C. G. Wilson, Larry McGee, and Gene McWaters, Jr. Also Acting City Manager, H. C. Greene, City Attorney, T. Acting City Clerk, Joe N. McCollum. session, Thursday, the meeting to Francis, Donald present were K. Haynes, and Mayor Graham announced the first item to be considered was a change order on the Buttermilk Creek Contract, Phase III. Acting City Manager Greene stated the change order was necessary due to a mis- calculation in excavation estimates. This resulted in the require- ment of extra fill material cost of $2,056.90. Acting City Manager Greene recommended approval of the change order. Resolution No. 2216 authorizing the change order in the amount of $2,056.90 for the extra fill material was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman McWaters for approval. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 2216 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 2197, award the contract for Buttermilk Creek Drainage Project, Phase III to B & B Equipment Co; and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Rick Conner, acting as project engineer of said project recommends the amendment of said contract by change order no. I attached hereto as Exhibit "A "; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that Buttermilk Creek Drainage Project, Phase III contract is hereby amended by Change Order No. 1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, is hereby authorized J and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said change order.
