MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />December 2, 1982 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Thursday, <br />December 2, 1982 at 5:15 P. M. in the Council Room, City Hall. Mayor <br />Graham called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen <br />present: W. C. Francis, Donald G. Wilson, Larry McGee, Gene McWater, <br />Jr., and Walter F. Williams. Also present were H. C. Greene, Acting <br />City Manager, T. K. Haynes City Attorney, and Joe N. McCollum, Acting <br />City Clerk. <br />Mayor Graham announced the meeting had been called to consider approval <br />of Supplement No. 2 to CRS Group Engineers contract. <br />John Suss, I & I Step 2 Project Director, review the contract <br />Supplement stating it involved a maximum of $81,000.00 for CRS service <br />to assist in line design. He said that the overall amount to be spent <br />on the project remains unchanged as the amount to be paid to CRS would <br />be transferred from the total budget for the local Step 2 staff. <br />Councilman Francis requested the matter be discussed in executive <br />session with the City Attorney. <br />Mayor Graham announced the regular session closed and the executive <br />session open. <br />The legal aspects of the contract supplement was discussed with the <br />City Attorney. <br />Mayor Graham announced the executive session closed and the regular <br />session open. <br />Resolution No. 2217 authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplement No. 2 <br />to the CRS Group Engineers contract was presented. A motion was made <br />by Councilman McWaters for approval of the Resolution, Councilman <br />McGee seconded the motion which carried 5 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman <br />Williams voting nay. <br />
