MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL December 2, 1982 The City Council of the City of Paris met in special session, Thursday, December 2, 1982 at 5:15 P. M. in the Council Room, City Hall. Mayor Graham called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Donald G. Wilson, Larry McGee, Gene McWater, Jr., and Walter F. Williams. Also present were H. C. Greene, Acting City Manager, T. K. Haynes City Attorney, and Joe N. McCollum, Acting City Clerk. Mayor Graham announced the meeting had been called to consider approval of Supplement No. 2 to CRS Group Engineers contract. John Suss, I & I Step 2 Project Director, review the contract Supplement stating it involved a maximum of $81,000.00 for CRS service to assist in line design. He said that the overall amount to be spent on the project remains unchanged as the amount to be paid to CRS would be transferred from the total budget for the local Step 2 staff. Councilman Francis requested the matter be discussed in executive session with the City Attorney. Mayor Graham announced the regular session closed and the executive session open. The legal aspects of the contract supplement was discussed with the City Attorney. Mayor Graham announced the executive session closed and the regular session open. Resolution No. 2217 authorizing the Mayor to execute Supplement No. 2 to the CRS Group Engineers contract was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McWaters for approval of the Resolution, Councilman McGee seconded the motion which carried 5 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Williams voting nay.
