MINUTES.OF.THE':REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />April 9, 1979 <br />The regular meeting•of the City Council of the City of Paris was held <br />F-londay, April 9, 1979 at 7:00 P. M. Mayor Malone called the meeting to <br />order with the following Councilmen present:„ B. J. Burnett, George Fisher, <br />Jr., Falter F. Wi- lliams and Raymond-Hunsch. Also present were City lHanager, <br />Robert EJ. Sokoil, City Attorney.; T K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Prayer was offered by Councilman Raymond.Wunsch. <br />Mayor Malone ask if there were any corrections to the minutes of previous <br />meetings furnished to the Council members. There being none, the minutes <br />were approved. <br />Mayor Malone announced the first order of business would be consideration of <br />recommendations made by the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Audubon <br />Development for approval of a required site plan on a part of Lot 8, City <br />Block 287. Hr. Bob Staple appeared in behalf of the Audubon Development <br />and advised that a Multi- Family Development is planned for the property <br />consisting of three Four -Flex Apartment Buildings facing Loop 286 with <br />parking in the rear. <br />Mayor t--Malone call for opponents to appear and none appeared. <br />ORDINANCE MO. 2440 <br />AN ORDINANCE MENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2372 WHICH AMENDED ZONIMG <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISION °3 <br />OF SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF A SITE <br />PLAN; REPEALING ALL ORDIi-MANCES OR PARTS OF ORDIMANCES IFS CONFLfCT <br />HEREWITH; AND_PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 9,-1979. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 5 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />F3ayor tialone declared the public hearing open on the petition of the Paris <br />Independent School District for a change in zoning from a One Family <br />Dwelling District Flo. 2 to a Public Land and Institutions District on Lot <br />F, Block C, Sandhill Estates, and east 50 feet of Lot 5 -A, Block 2, Hayes <br />Heights Addition and all of Lot 14, City Block 294. Upon invitation by <br />the f--layor no one appeared either for against the petition. <br />Councilman Philley entered the Council Chambers and assumed his chair at <br />the Council table. <br />
