4 <br />The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Brunette called for the tabulation of bids received for street improvements on <br />West Kaufman Street between 28th S. W. and 29th S. W. City Manager Sweatt advised that <br />one bid had been received from Roy Williamson Construction Company in the amount of <br />$7,637.22. City Manager Sweatt advised the Council of the wit drawal of signature on <br />the assessment request from one property owner who was included in the original requo-st <br />which made a total of 67% of the property owners and 69% of the frontage in favor of <br />the assessment. <br />Resolution Flo, 1821, authorizing City Manager Sweatt to execute on behalf of the City <br />of Paris a contract with the Roy Williamson Construction Company for curb and gutter <br />and street improvements on West Kaufman Street, was presented. Prior to the vote, Mr. <br />A. T. Dicken appeared before the Council in behalf of the improvements. <br />
