City Manager Sweatt requested authorization to advertise for bids for a Key Control <br />Fuel System, such bids to be received at 10:00 A. M. on June 8, 1977. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Williams and seconded by Councilman Wunsch to approve the request <br />of the city manager. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Ordinance No. 2327: <br />"AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS TO THE EQUALIZATION BOARD <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENT <br />TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE <br />EQUALIZATION BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE MEMBERS <br />OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE-DATE." <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams and seconded by Councilman <br />Stone for the adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sweatt recommended that the accounting firm of McClanahan & Holmes be <br />approved to conduct the annual audit as required by City Charter. A motion was made <br />by Councilman Wunsch and seconded by Councilman Malone to approve the request. The <br />motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Brunette requested volunteers from the Council for appointment to the City/ <br />School Committee, and Councilman Wunsch and Councilman Malone volunteered their <br />services. Mayor Brunette called for a secret ballot, and City Clerk Greene read <br />results of the ballot, showing Councilman Wunsch - 3 votes, and Councilman Malone <br />4 votes, and Councilman Malone was appointed as a member of the City /School Committee. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MAYOR JAMES M.
