C "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 167, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MICKEY YORK, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED." was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch and seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Brunette declared the public hearing open to consider the petition of James Rheudasil fora change in zoning from a Multi- Family Dwelling District (MF -1) to a Commercial District (C) on Lot 1, City Block 266, located on the southeast corner of 17th N. E. and Loop 286 N. E. Mayor Brunette called for proponents to appear, and Mr. Rheudasil was present asking for commercial zoning in order to develop a building for tractor and implement sales. Mayor Brunette called for opponents to appear, and none.appeared. Mayor Brunette declared the public hearing closed and called for the reading of the ordinance. Ordinance No. 2329: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS,-PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 266, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES RHEUDASIL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIG- NATED AS A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1, (MF -1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED." was presented. Mayor Brunette declared a public hearing open to consider the petition of Dr. J. W. McCoy, Sr. for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Commer- cial District (C) on Lot 6, City Block 318, located on the north side of Loop 286 N. E. approximately 750 feet west of 34th N. E. Mayor Brunette called for proponents to appear, and Dr. McCoy was present, stating that he proposed to develop an office building on a one acre section of this tract. Mayor Brunette called for opponents to appear, and none appeared. Mayor Brunette declared the public hearing closed and called for the reading of the ordinance. Ordinance No. 2330:
