<br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -006
<br />JOINT RESOLUTION NO. J97 -001
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of DR. GORDON B. STROM, JR., DR. DAVID
<br />BROCK, MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS, and DR. CHARLES TARVIN,
<br />as members of the Paris -Lamar County Advisory Board of Health, did expire on December 31,
<br />1996; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, with the advice of the
<br />County Judge of Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the reappointment of DR.
<br />GORDON B. STROM, JR., MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS AND DR.
<br />CHARLES TARVIN for terms of two (2) years, beginning January .1, 1997, and ending
<br />December 31, 1998; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE
<br />COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, that DR. GORDON B.
<br />STROM, JR., MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS AND DR. CHARLES
<br />TARVIN be, and they are hereby, reappointed to serve as members of the Paris -Lamar County
<br />Advisory Board of Health for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 1997, and ending
<br />December 31, 1998.
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 1997.
