007 <br />RESOLUTION 94 -024 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris continues to support open <br />government and the tenets thereof; and, <br />WHEREAS, the official bulletin board had, for many years, been located in the <br />entranceway to the lobby of City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the official bulletin board of the City <br />of Paris be relocated to the entranceway of the City Hall Annex at the northwest corner <br />of the intersection of Kaufman Street and lst Street S.E., said entranceway being located <br />in the southeast corner of the City Hall Annex building, at ground level; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the bulletin board located in the entranceway of the City Hall Annex at 150 1st Street <br />S.E. be, and the same is hereby, designated as the official bulletin board of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of March, 1994. <br />G orge fisher, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Hayne , City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 94 -025, resolving that it does hereby accept the <br />Assignment and Amendment to Earnest Money Contract - Commercial <br />Unimproved Property from Bobby Smallwood and Glenn Townes to Terry <br />Kilgore and wife, Linda Kilgore, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />George Fisher, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute <br />on behalf of the City of Paris the Assignment and Amendment to Earnest <br />Money Contract, and further resoling that the City Attorney, T. K. <br />Haynes be, and he is hereby, authorized to procure a class 1 and 2 <br />environmental assessment on Lot 6, City Block 276, and Lot 2, City <br />Block 322, as needed, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Shelton, seconded by Councilwoman McDonald for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
