739 <br />and 3370 Clarksville Street, Agenda Item No. 12, Consideration of and <br />action on authorizing the preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 1710 changing the zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development - Housing District <br />(PD -b) on Lot 10, City Block 311 located at 3420 Clarksville Street., <br />and Agenda Item No. 14, consideration of and action on authorizing the <br />preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 changing <br />the zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a <br />Planned Development Housing District (PD -b) on Lots 24, 26, and 27, <br />City Block 312 located at 3375, 3395, and 3425 Clarksville Street, and <br />asked Dr. Walker and those in the neighborhood to works as a committee <br />give the City Council input for restrictions, so when he says Planned <br />Development -B with, and you write in the restrictions, so you know them <br />up front. The motion was seconded by Councilman Shelton, and carried 5 <br />ayes, 2 nay, Councilman Williams and Mayor Fisher voting no. <br />Mayor Fisher announce that the Council would consider Agenda Item No. <br />8, consideration of and action on authorizing the preparation of an <br />ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 changing the zoning from a <br />One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development - <br />Housing District on Lot 9, City Block 311 located at 3390 Clarksville <br />Street, at this time. A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams authorizing preparation of the <br />ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Shelton voting <br />no. <br />Mayor Fisher declared the public hearing open on the petition of of Ken <br />Coffey for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling District (2F) <br />to a General Retail District (GR) on Lots 3 and 3A City Block 227 -E <br />located at 1933 and 1943 Pine Bluff Street. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development came forward telling <br />the Council that the Planning and Zoning Commission had tabled this <br />item, that there was a misunderstanding on the type of zoning that was <br />needed for the property, he asked for General Retail, and his proposed <br />is Commercial. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman John <br />Bell to continue the the public hearing, and table Agenda Item No. 16, <br />consideration of and action on authorizing the preparation of an <br />ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 changing the zoning from a <br />Two Family Dwelling District (2F) to a General Retail District (GR) on <br />Lots 3 and 3A, City Block 227 -E located at 1933 and 1943 Pine Bluff <br />Street. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />On the request of Councilman Jim Bell, a motion was made by Councilman <br />Shelton, seconded by Councilman Williams to excuse Councilman Bell from <br />the Council meeting, and to take a five minute break. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fisher reconvened the Council meeting at 7:45 P. M.. <br />Mayor Fisher declared the public hearing open on the petition of Jim <br />Bell for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 <br />
