The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman Shelton <br />to allow Councilman Jim Bell to return to the council meeting. The <br />motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays, and Councilman Jim. Bell entered the <br />council chambers and assumed his seat at the council tble. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for rezoning: <br />Lonnie Dear, Lot 11, Block 1, Central Park Addition from Two Family <br />Dwelling District to Office District; Sam Bolton, Lot 2, City Block <br />341, Hwy 24 South of Loop, from Agricultural District to Commercial <br />District; Richard Powell, Lots 9, 9A, 10, 11, 12, and 13, City Block <br />259, Collegiate Drive and E. Cherry Street, from SF -2 and Specific Use <br />Permit District to Planned Development - Commercial District and <br />Planned Development - Housing District; David Hicks, Lots 1, 2, 8, and <br />9, Block 7, S. J. Wright Addition from 2F & SF -2 District to Commercial <br />District. <br />Mayor Fisher referred the petitions to the Planning an Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendation and called for a public <br />hearing at the March 7, 1994 Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting, <br />and before the City Council March 10, 1994. <br />Resolution No. 94 -007, referring a list of hazardous buildings to the <br />Building Hazard Inspection Committee, was presented. A motion was made <br />by Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman Shelton for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
