754 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1994 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session, Monday, <br />February 14, 1994, 6:00 P. M., City Hall, City Council Chambers, Paris, <br />Texas. Mayor George Fisher called the meeting to order with the <br />following Councilmembers present: Don Shelton, Jim Bell, Millie Ingram <br />McDonald, Wayne Brown, and John F. Bell. Also present was City <br />Manager, Michael E. Malone, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City <br />Clerk, Matt.ie Cunningham. <br />Invocation was given by W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance for the <br />City of Paris. <br />Mayor Fisher announced if there was anyone in the audience who has <br />business to bring before the Council and is not listed on the agenda, <br />to please let it be known in order for the information to be made <br />available in compliance with the Open Meeting Law. <br />Mayor Fisher asked if there were any corrections to the minutes of <br />previous meetings, there being none, the minutes were approved as <br />presented. <br />City Manager Malone announced the next order of business would be <br />receipt of reports from committees, boards, and commissions with <br />minutes of the Paris Lamar County Board of Health, Lamar County Rural <br />Health Clinic Board, Paris Public Library Advisory Board, and Paris <br />Economic Development Corporation Board with no action being required. <br />Agenda Item No. 4, consideration of and action on authorizing the <br />preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 changing <br />the zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a <br />Planned Development - Housing District (PD -b) on Lots 7 and 8, City <br />Block 311 located at 3350 and 3370 Clarksville Street, was left on the <br />table. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman Wayne <br />Brown to bring consideration of and action on authorizing preparation <br />of an ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 changing the zoning <br />from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned <br />Development - Housing District (PD -b) on Lot 10, City Block 311 located <br />at 3420 Clarksville Street from the table. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilwoman <br />McDonald authorizing preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 1710 changing the zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development - Housing District <br />(PD -b) on Lot 10, City Block 311 located at 3420 Clarksville Street. <br />The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />No action was taken on Agenda Item No. 6, consideration of and action <br />on authorizing the preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning <br />Ordinance No 1710 changing the zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />
