Mayor Pro Tem called for proponents to appear, and Billy M. Hill 1525 <br />17th N. E., appeared saying that he wanted to build a barber shop on <br />the property in question. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Shelton called for opponents to appear, none appeared, <br />and the public hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams authorizing preparation of an ordinance changing the zoning <br />from a Two Family Dwelling District to a Neighborhood Service District <br />on Lot 27, Block 1, Hayes Addition, to be presented at the next regular <br />Council meeting. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Shelton declared the public hearing open to consider a <br />change in zoning from a Neighborhood Service District (NS) to proper <br />zoning on Lot 1 -C, City Block 306 located on the northwest corner of <br />Loop 286 N. E. and Stillhouse Road. <br />No one appeared for or against the zoning change, and the public <br />hearing was declared closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Jim Bell, seconded by Councilman John <br />Bell authorizing preparation of an ordinance changing the zoning from <br />Neighborhood Service District to proper zoning on Lot 1 -C City Block <br />306, to be presented at the next regular Council meeting. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petition for rezoning: <br />Ken Coffey, Lot 3 and 3A, City Block 227, 1933 and 1943 Pine Bluff, <br />from Two Family Dwelling to General Retail District; Jimmy Guthrie, <br />Lot 24, City Block 312, 3425 Clarksville, from Single Family Dwelling <br />District to PD -bl District; David Steely, Lot 27, Block 312, from SF -2 <br />District to PD -b District; Jane Steely, Lot 26, City Block 312 from' <br />SF -2 District to PD -b District. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Shelton referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendation and called for a public <br />hearing at the February 7, 1994 Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />meeting, and before the City Council February 10, 1994. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MAYOR PRO TEM, DON SHELTON <br />ATTEST: <br />MAT TIE CUNNINGHAM, CITY CLERK <br />
