Mr. Yates seconded <br />the motion which carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. 2 <br />Chairman Hayter opened the public hearing on the petition of Bob <br />Wright for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling District <br />(2F) to a Neighborhood Service District (NS) on Lot 7, City Block <br />33 -A located at 1405 E. Houston Street. <br />Lisa Farris, daughter of Mr. Wright spoke for the petition saying <br />her father had a locksmith business which he wanted to operate out <br />of his residence at this location. No one else was present to <br />speak on the matter and the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Clifford made a motion for approval. Mr. Jenkins seconded the <br />motion which carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Chairman Hayter declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Lester Moore for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multi - Family Dwelling District No. 1 <br />(MF -1) on Lot 2, Block 10, Town North Estates located on the <br />northeast corner of Kessler Dr. and 29th N.E. <br />No one was present to represent the application. <br />Several persons were present in opposition. Mike Hutchins, 1220 N. <br />Collegiate spoke in opposition to Multi - Family or Commercial zoning <br />on the lot and presented a petition with 26 signatures of persons <br />also in opposition. Richard Manning 2965 Cypress, Paul Hamra, <br />2955 Cypress and Fariborz Zamir, 2945 Cypress also spoke against <br />further zoning for rental property in the area. <br />The public hearing was closed and following discussion, a motion <br />was made by Mr. Yates, seconded by Mr. Hayter to recommend denial <br />of the petition. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Chairman Hayter declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Gerald Burnsed for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development - Housing District <br />(PD -b) on Lots 7 and 8, City Block 311 located at 3350 and 3370 <br />Clarksville St. <br />Benny Lovell, agent for the applicant, requested the item be tabled <br />until the February meeting to determine if a pending land sale <br />would have an effect on the petition. Mr. Clifford made a motion <br />to table the item, seconded by Mr. Fendley. The motion carried 5 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Chairman Hayter declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />J.D. LaFoy for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development - Housing District <br />(PD -b) on Lot 10, City Block 311, located at 3420 Clarksville <br />Street. <br />
