w <br />The Final Plat of York Addition, Part 2 was recommended for <br />approval on a motion by Mr. Kent, seconded by Mr. Clifford subject <br />to the requirements in the City Engineers Memorandum dated January, <br />4, 1993, Marked Exhibit A and attached hereto. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The Final Plats of Public Housing Authority Price Street, Sherman <br />r-- Street and Jackson Street Sites were tabled on a motion by Mr. <br />Clifford seconded by Ms. Ausbie. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />The Final Plat of McKinney Addition was recommended for approval on <br />a motion by Mr. McCarthy, seconded by Mr. Fendley subject to the <br />requirements in City Engineer's Memorandum dated January 4, 1993, <br />marked Exhibit B and attached hereto. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />Mr. McCollum advised the Commission that the committee composed of <br />Mr. Hayter, Mr. Smith and himself had reviewed the qualifications <br />of the seven consultants for the proposed Master Plan updates and <br />recommend the following four firms for further consideration: <br />1. Bucher, Willis and Ratliff - Tyler, Texas <br />2. Community Land Resources, Inc. - Austin, Texas <br />3. J.T. Dunkin and Associates - Dallas, Texas <br />4. HOK, Inc. - Dallas, Texas <br />Chairman Hayter suggested and it was agreed to invite 2 consultants <br />to the February meeting and 2 to the March meeting to discuss the <br />City's planning needs and proceed from there to proposals based on <br />a scope of work. <br />Chairman Hayter made note that all public buildings and properties <br />were not covered by the PLI zoning classification and suggested <br />that the Commission begin holding hearings to change the zoning on <br />those properties to PLI. The Commission agreed this was needed and <br />directed Mr. McCollum to prepare a list of properties that need to <br />be changed to that classification. <br />To start the process they directed Mr. McCollum to present the <br />Justice School property at the February Meeting and to advise the <br />Paris Independent School District of the Commissions intentions. <br />There being no further business to consider, the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br />e N.
