MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
<br />March 8, 1990
<br />The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session, Thursday,
<br />March 8, 1990, 5:15 P. M., City Council Chamber, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas. Mayor Eric S. Clifford called the meeting to order with the
<br />following Councilmen present: Curtis Fendley, Travis Wortham, Marshall
<br />H. Kent, Jr., E. W. (Bill) Booth, William E. (Bill) Davidson, and
<br />Rondie Williams. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone,
<br />City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and -City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham.
<br />City Manager Malone called for a report from the Building Hazard
<br />Inspection Committee.
<br />Mike Alexander, Code Enforcement Office, was present giving the
<br />following report:
<br />1310 W. Sherman, Lot 4, Block 218. The house is in need of leveling
<br />and major repairs to interior and exterior. Committee gave 30 days to
<br />make necessary repairs in order to bring it up to Section 8 Standard.
<br />1254 W. Cherry, Lot 10, Block 84. The house is in need of repairs for
<br />means of egress, windows, foundation, flooring, exterior walls, roof,
<br />interior partitions, general wiring conditions with inadequate electric
<br />outlets and plumbing. Committee declared the house dilapidated and
<br />ordered removed within 30 days..
<br />323 2nd N. E., Lot 10, Block 58. The house is in need of major repairs
<br />to means of egress, windows, foundation, flooring, exterior walls,
<br />roof, interior partitions, general wiring, electric outlets and
<br />plumbing. Committee gave 30 days to make contract to repair and three
<br />months to make necessary repairs.
<br />255 13th S.W. Street, Lot 9, Block 58. The house is in need of major
<br />repair to the porch. The Committee gave 30 days to make necessary
<br />repairs.
<br />1629 15th N. E. Street, Lot 4, Block K, East Park Addition. The house
<br />is in need 'of major repairs for means of egress, windows, foundation
<br />flooring, exterior walls, roof interior partitions, general wiring
<br />condition and inadequate electric outlets and plumbing. The Committee
<br />declared dilapidated and ordered removed within 30 days.
<br />658 12th N. W. Street, Lot 22, Block 84. The house is in need of major
<br />repair for means of egress, windows, foundation, flooring, exterior
<br />walls, roof interior partitions with inadequate general wiring,
<br />electric outlets and plumbing. The committee vote to declare
<br />dilapidated and ordered removed within 30 days.
<br />711 Wood, Lot 3, Block 93 -C. The house is in need of major repair to
<br />means of egress, windows, foundation, flooring, exterior walls, roof,
<br />interior partitions, general wiring condition and inadequate outlets
<br />and plumbing. The committee voted to declare dilapidated and ordered
<br />removed within 30 days:
