541 15th S. W. Street, Lot 13, Block 229. The house is in need of <br />major repair to means of egress, windows, foundation, flooring, <br />exterior walls, roof, interior partitions, general wiring condition and <br />inadequate outlets and plumbing. Mr. Alexander advised that a <br />demolition permit had been issued for this property. The committee <br />voted to declare dilapidated and ordered removed within 30 days. <br />1430 10th N. E. Street, Lot 13, Block P, East Park Addition. The house <br />is in need of major repairs for means of egress, windows, foundation <br />flooring, exterior walls, roof interior partitions general wiring <br />condition and inadequate electric outlets and plumbing. The committee <br />voted to declare dilapidated and ordered removed within 30 days. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, was present and <br />presented the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting <br />held March 5, 1990, and attached hereto as part of these minutes as <br />Exhibit A. <br />Mayor Clifford declared the public hearing open concerning property <br />determined by the Building Hazard Inspection Committee to be a fire <br />hazard and /or dilapidated or dangerous structure and /or a nuisance. <br />Mayor Clifford called for proponents to appear, none appeared. <br />Mayor Clifford called for opponents to appear, none appeared and the <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on <br />authorizing the preparation of an ordinance declaring certain <br />structures to be hazardous and the disposition of the same. A motion <br />was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Wortham <br />authorizing the preparation of an ordinance declaring certain <br />structures to be hazardous and the disposition of the same. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Clifford declared the public hearing open on the petition of Fred <br />Eatherly for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. <br />2 (SF -2) to a Commercial District (C) on Lot 31, City Block 250 located <br />at 801 Clement Road. <br />Mayor Clifford called for proponents to appear, and Mr. Fred Eatherly, <br />Realtor, appeared on behalf of the Halley Estate. Mr. Eatherly told <br />the Council that he has sold the property subject to* the rezoning for <br />warehousing for the . Frito Lay Company who will be moving their <br />operation to this location, and urged the Council to approve the <br />zoning change. <br />Mayor Clifford called for opponents to appear, none appeared and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of an action on <br />authorizing preparation of an ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. <br />1710 changing the zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 <br />
