9 F� <br />RESOLUTION 90 -029 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for drainage improvements to Big Sandy <br />Tributaries No. 4 and 6 (sometimes incorrectly referred to as <br />Buttermilk Creek) , beginning on Tributary No. 4 at the North <br />Boundary Line of Simpson Street box culvert being Station <br />109 +80 and proceeding in a northerly direction to Station <br />110 +98, and on Tributary No. 6, beginning at the East <br />Boundary Line of Tributary No. 4 being Station 19 +20, thence <br />in an easterly direction to Station 19 +51.25; and on <br />Tributary No. 6, beginning at the North Boundary Line of <br />Culbertson Street at Station 11 +48 northerly to Station <br />13 +88.7; and, <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications were originally <br />prepared by Richard Babb, and have been revised by Earl <br />Smith, City Engineer, for a project entitled, Drainage <br />Improvements on Big Sandy Creek Tributary No." 4 Station <br />109 +80 to Station 110 +98, which plans and specifications are <br />recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of <br />Paris; and <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be <br />approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the plans and specifications for the Drainage <br />Improvements on Big Sandy Creek Tributary No. 4 Station <br />109 +80 to Station 110 +98, beginning on Tributary No. 4 at the <br />North Boundary Line of Simpson Street box culvert being <br />Station 109 +80 and proceeding in a northerly direction to <br />Station 110 +98, and on Tributary No. 6, beginning at the East <br />Boundary Line of Tributary No. 4 being Station 19 +20, thence <br />in an easterly direction to Station 19 +51.25; and on <br />Tributary No. 6, beginning at the North Boundary Line of <br />Culbertson Street at Station 11 +48 northerly to Station <br />13 +88.7, are hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Project should be <br />advertised for bids to be received after due notice and <br />thereafter returned to City Council for letting, at 3:00 <br />o'clock P.M. on Tuesday,' April 3, 1990, and should be <br />presented to the City Council on the 9th day of April, 1990, <br />for the purpose of letting such bid. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of March, 1990. <br />Eric S. - <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit <br />YN <br />C erk <br />APP VED 6,S--TO FORM: <br />aynes, City Attorney <br />
