793
Boyce Flenniken, 1895 Jackson Street, was present and spoke against the
zoning change stating he had lived there for 15 years, and the main
reason for purchasing his home in this area was because it was a nice
residential area, and he would like to keep it that way.
Howard Kelley, 1210 S. E. 20th, appeared before the Council stating his
opposition to the zoning change.
Jerry DeBin also appeared before the Council stating he was not against
public housing, but was opposed to public housing when it would devalue
property of others because public housing was for those in transient,
and transient housing is not needed.
