021 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 -056 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member <br />of the Ark -Tex Council of Governments; and, <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark -Tex <br />Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall <br />be composed of members elected or appointed by the member- <br />ship; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three <br />members of the Board of Directors of Ark -Tex Council of <br />Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and, <br />WHEREAS, Billy J:oe Burnett, Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City <br />of Paris of William (Bill) Bone as Walter Williams's <br />successor, to serve until his successor is duly qualified or <br />installed or until he becomes disqualified to so serve; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: That William (Bill) Bone be, and he is hereby <br />appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Ark -Tex <br />Council of Governments, to serve until his .successor is duly <br />qualified or installed, or until he becomes disqualified to <br />so serve. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of June, 1986. <br />Bill-y- Burnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />attie Cunningham, Ci y C er <br />APPROVED AS T FORM:: <br />T.
