Q�L.J that, the 36 inch pipe that the City considered re- locating at Mr. Landers request, his property was not large enough, and the City would have to increase the pipe to a 42 inch and that would be an additional cost of approximately $7,500.00. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bone to bring the motion from the table on the 34th N. E. Drainage. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hoog, and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Francis moved to proceed with the 34th Drainage Project as Engineered, with the following exceptions: Stop the drainage pipe at west bar ditch on 34th Street, at that point a suitable pipe will be installed to direct the water to the north to Center Street, a suitable turn structure will be installed to turn the water in a westerly direction down the bar ditch on the south side of Center Street, and remove the berm at 34th and Oak, install a culvert under Oak Street and proceed with the formerly approved project, clean ditches and install culverts on the east side of 34th Street. The motion was seconded by Councilman Wortham and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager Doty requested approval of Force Account to make modifications to the surface water drainage system in the area of 22nd and Shiloh. A motion was made by Councilman Folmar, seconded by Councilman Francis authorizing the request of the City Manager. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Folmar to authorize the development of plans and specifications for a Sewage Sludge Disposal System and to negotiate a contract for the use of the . proposed site for the system. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. City Attorney Haynes discussed personnel matters with the Council, and reported that on the N. Lake Road Closing, that all people and agencies that had been contacted, they all agreed to the closing of the road.
