Q�L.J <br />that, the 36 inch pipe that the City considered re- locating at Mr. <br />Landers request, his property was not large enough, and the City would <br />have to increase the pipe to a 42 inch and that would be an additional <br />cost of approximately $7,500.00. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bone to bring the <br />motion from the table on the 34th N. E. Drainage. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Hoog, and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Francis moved to proceed with the 34th Drainage Project as <br />Engineered, with the following exceptions: Stop the drainage pipe at <br />west bar ditch on 34th Street, at that point a suitable pipe will be <br />installed to direct the water to the north to Center Street, a suitable <br />turn structure will be installed to turn the water in a westerly <br />direction down the bar ditch on the south side of Center Street, and <br />remove the berm at 34th and Oak, install a culvert under Oak Street <br />and proceed with the formerly approved project, clean ditches and <br />install culverts on the east side of 34th Street. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Wortham and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Doty requested approval of Force Account to make <br />modifications to the surface water drainage system in the area of <br />22nd and Shiloh. A motion was made by Councilman Folmar, seconded by <br />Councilman Francis authorizing the request of the City Manager. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by <br />Councilman Folmar to authorize the development of plans and <br />specifications for a Sewage Sludge Disposal System and to negotiate a <br />contract for the use of the . proposed site for the system. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes discussed personnel matters with the Council, and <br />reported that on the N.
