Mayor Fisher called for a report and recommendations from the Traffic <br />Commission. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented a report from the Traffic Commission and <br />the following recommendations were made by The Traffic Commission: <br />Crosswalk at East side of 18th S. W.; Hospital Guide signs on Lamar, <br />Clasrksville and Church Street; No Parking Zone in the 3300 Block of N. <br />E. Loop 286; Removal of a Loading Zone in the 300 Block of First Street <br />S. W. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman <br />Wilson for approval of the report and recommendations of the Traffic <br />Commission. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fisher called for a report from the Airport Advisory Board and <br />the following recommendations were presented: Review of City <br />Ordinances to add Federal or State Insurance Requirements as are <br />applicable; and General update of approved activities at Cox Field <br />Airport. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams to accept the recommendations from the Airport <br />Advisory Board. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fisher announced the next item on the agenda was consideration <br />and action on previously requested modifications of the Urban Grant <br />Programming to allow maintenance of certain City Streets. <br />City Manager Doty informed the Council that the State has now taken the <br />position that contrary to information provided, it will be impossible <br />for them to do this work since the streets named are not urban system <br />streets, and no action would be necessary. <br />Councilman Wilson requested a report on the Green Belt at Robert <br />Allen's. <br />City Manager Doty informed Councilman Wilson, and the Council that Joe <br />McCollum, Director of Community Development, has notified the owner of <br />r—.
