Ono <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 -017 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for a project of construction for a treated <br />water transmission line from City of Paris Lake Crook Water <br />Treatment Plant south to Campbell Soup Plant; and, <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been <br />prepared by Shimek, Jacobs & Finklea, Consultant Engineers <br />of Dallas, Texas, with the title being given thereto of "33" <br />Treated Water Pipeline Project", which plans and <br />specifications are recommended for approval by the Director <br />of Engineering of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be <br />approved and such project should be advertised for bids; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the plans and specifications for the 33" <br />Treated Water Pipeline Project are hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such 33" Treated Water <br />Pipeline Project should be advertised for bids to be <br />received after due notice and thereafter returned to City <br />Council for letting. <br />Passed and adopted this 24th day of February, 1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T. Haynes, City Attorney <br />G rge Tishe7r, Jr., Mayor <br />Mayor Fisher announced that the Council would go into executive session <br />and declared the regular session closed, and the executive session open. <br />Legal matters were discussed with the City Attorney. <br />Mayor Fisher declared the executive session closed and the regular <br />session open. <br />Resolution No. 86 -018 authorizing and directing the City Attorney to <br />proceed to condemn property necessary for the completion of a 33" <br />Treated Water Pipeline Project was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Hoog for adoption of the <br />Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nays, Councilman Francis <br />voting nay. <br />i <br />
