Ono RESOLUTION NO. 86 -017 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for a treated water transmission line from City of Paris Lake Crook Water Treatment Plant south to Campbell Soup Plant; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Shimek, Jacobs & Finklea, Consultant Engineers of Dallas, Texas, with the title being given thereto of "33" Treated Water Pipeline Project", which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the Director of Engineering of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the plans and specifications for the 33" Treated Water Pipeline Project are hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such 33" Treated Water Pipeline Project should be advertised for bids to be received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council for letting. Legal matters were discussed with the City Attorney. Mayor Fisher declared the executive session closed and the regular session open. Resolution No. 86 -018 authorizing and directing the City Attorney to proceed to condemn property necessary for the completion of a 33" Treated Water Pipeline Project was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Hoog for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nays, Councilman Francis voting nay. i
