Mayor Pro Tem Fisher called for the tabulations of bids for Glass & Glazing Work at -the City Hall Annex Building, and the following bids were presented: Charles Taylor Glass Shop Reddell's Glass & Metal $2,197.77 $3,198.00 Councilman Wilson moved that bids received at a public bid opening on April 30, 1985 for Glass & Glazing Work at the City Hall Annex Building be spread on the record and that in as much as Charles Taylor Glass Shop submitted the lowest and best bid that a contract be awarded Taylor Glass Shop for such items meeting City's specifications in an amount not to exceed $2,197.77. The motion was seconded by Councilman Burnett and carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Pro Tem Fisher called for the tabulations of bids for Ceiling Work at the City Hall Annex Building, and the following bids were presented: Elmore Drywall & Acoustics $7,837.50 Councilman Wilson moved that bids received at a public bid opening on April 30, 1985 for Ceiling Work at the City Hall Annex Building be spread on the record and that in as much as Elmore Drywall & Acoustics submitted the lowest and best bid that a contract be awarded Elmore Drywall & Acoustics for such items meeting City's specifications in an amount not to exceed $7,837.50. The motion was seconded by Councilman Burnett and carried 6 ayes., 0 nays. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Folmar instructing the City Attorney to prepare Resolutions for the above contracts. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. ,Mayor Pro Tem Fisher announced that discussion was requested by Mr. Nathan Bell for variance of drainage improvements on his proposed Subdivision at S. E: 17th Street - Cedar to Jackson. Mr. Nathan Bell appeared before the Council and discussed the drainage improvements requesting the variance. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Williams seconded by Councilman Francis to approve action in taking a storm water drainage easement across the property and constructing'storm water facilities that discharged into such easement relieved the site storm water drainage system required by the subdivision ordinance.
