City Manager informed the Council that four bids had been received for Interior <br />Construction for the City Hall Annex Project February 26, 1985, and that the bids <br />had not been opened at the public bid opening but was being delivered to the <br />Council for their instructionsoas to open the bids or to rebid the project. <br />After discussion a motion was made by Councilman Burnett to open the bids, the <br />motion failed for lack of a second. After further discussion, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Burnett to open the four bids, seconded by Councilman Bell. <br />The motion carried 5 ayes, 2 nay, Councilman Fisher and Councilman Williams <br />voting nay. City Manager Doty then opened the bids and presented them to the <br />Council as follows: <br />Hilliard & Sons Contractors Inc.. $19,649.00 <br />Ferris Construction Company $21,435.00 <br />Gille & Klein Construction Co. $21,310.00 <br />Mitchell Contractors $27,583.61 <br />Mayor Graham advised the Council that the bids would be referred back to the <br />Council at the next regular Council meeting. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the Council would go into executive session, and declared <br />the regular session closed. <br />Legal matters were discussed with the City Attorney. <br />Mayor Graham declared the regular session open, and the executive session closed. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MAYOR JOE GRAHAM, CITY OF PARIS <br />ATTEST: <br />r <br />MATTIE CUNNINGHAM, ASST.
