1 <br />Councilman Francis brought up the matter of a drainage problem in the <br />area which may be aggravated by the paving of this property for parking <br />The Drainage Committee was requested to look into the drainage from <br />this area south. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised that an Ordinance and Resolution would be <br />necessary to close the alley and that an easement would be retained. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Williams <br />to authorize preparation of the Ordinance for consideration at the <br />next meeting. <br />The Council next considered approval of the replat of Lot 14, City <br />Block 193 which had been recommended by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission with waver of curb and gutter requirement due to proposed <br />width of Graham Street at 48' would not fit in with existing curb <br />and gutter and drainage. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fisher to refer back to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission for recommendation on street width for Graham <br />Street and curb and gutter requirement. Councilman Williams seconded <br />the motion which carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 1, City Block 315 was approved on a motion by Council- <br />man Fisher, seconded by Councilman McGee. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 5 -A, City Block 115 was approved on a motion by <br />Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Wilson. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The final plat of Tanglewood Addition No. 1 -A was approved on a motion <br />by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Williams. The motion <br />carried 5 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Wilson voted nay. <br />The replat of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block A, Hindman Park Addition was <br />approved on a motion by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 3, City Block 323 was brought from the table and <br />approved on a motion by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman <br />Wilson. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The request for water service outside the City Limits by Tommy Echols, <br />which involves property in the replat of Lot 3, City Block 323 was <br />considered next. A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams to approve the request. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes submitted the following zoning referrals: James <br />Marshall, Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, Block 1, Smith's First Addition <br />from C to LI; McKnight & Vaughn, 3.48 acres from A to SF -2. <br />Mayor Graham referred the zoning requests for public hearing and <br />recommendations by Planning and Zoning Commission March 7, 1983 and <br />public hearing before the City Council on March 14, 1983. <br />1 <br />
