` L <br />} <br />'t <br />ORDINANCE NO. 266 S3 •0oa, <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 2004 WHICH AMENDED ZONING j <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL <br />OF A SITE PLAN; HEREWITH;.AND ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 10, <br />1983. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by <br />Councilman Francis for approval of the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of 31 <br />properties for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District <br />No. 3 to a Commercial District on part of Lot 3, City Block 266 <br />located on the south side of Loop 286 N. E. between Clement Road and <br />Ballard Drive. <br />J. D. McLaughlin appeared before the Council and spoke in favor of <br />the petition, pointing out the Commercial nature of the tract and <br />surrounding properties. <br />There was no one present to speak for or- against the petition and <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing. closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2 -66-9- S�5 - ©0tt <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP <br />OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON PART OF LOT 3, <br />CITY BLOCK 266, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO 31 PROPERTIES, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT NO. 3 (SF -3); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL <br />DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by <br />Councilman McWaters for approval of the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 1, City Block 257 -C was presented by Mr. McCollum. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Fisher <br />for approval of the replat. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 16A, City Block 84 was presented by Mr. McCollum and <br />following discussion, a motion was made by Councilman McWaters for <br />approval. Councilman Williams seconded the motion which carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />The replat of Lot 3, City Block 323 was presented by Mc. McCollum who <br />explained that most of the deep, narrow lots were outside the City <br />limits and called for 3 residential buildings lots with access to <br />Highway 79 by way of a 30' easement. The Council questioned the <br />advisability of the 30' easement as the means of access and felt action <br />should be tabled to allow the land owners to look at the possibility <br />of a standard street or a wider easement. Councilman McGee made the <br />motion to table. Councilman McWaters seconded the motion which carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
