RESOLUTION 110. 83 -018 <br />WHEREAS, there exists <br />a vacancy <br />on. the membership <br />of <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission of <br />the City of <br />Paris <br />due <br />to the resignation. of <br />Jeff Hoog, and <br />it is necessary <br />to <br />appoint his successor, <br />and the tlayor <br />of the City <br />of Paris, <br />Joe Graham, having appointed <br />Dwight <br />Woolston to <br />serve <br />the <br />unexpired term of Jeff <br />Hoog, which ends <br />June 30, <br />1985, <br />and <br />has submitted the nzme <br />of such person <br />to the City <br />Council <br />of <br />the City of Paris; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: That the appointment of Dwight Woolston, as a member <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, <br />to serve the unexpired term of Jeff Hoog, which ends June <br />30, 1985, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby <br />approved and confirmed. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of April, 1983. <br />J e Graham, 1Iayor <br />ATTEST: <br />EI. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Mayor Graham announced that the Council would go into executive session, <br />and the regular session was declared closed, and the executive session <br />open. <br />Discussion was had with the City Attorney concerning contractual matters. <br />The executive session was declared closed and the regular session open. <br />Mr. Glenn Watson appeared before the Council requesting waiver of curb <br />and gutter and street specification on sub - division outside the City <br />limits south of the City of Paris. After discussion, a motion was <br />made by Councilman Williams to allow Mr. Watson deviation from the <br />City's Sub - division Ordinance. The motion died from lack of a second. <br />
